BRAC University Environment Club Launches “Symposium 1.0” with support of C3ER, BRAC University

The BRAC University Environment Club hosted its first-ever orientation program, “Symposium 1.0”, at the BRACU Campus on 19 December 2024. The event brought together the students who are passionate about the environment.

The event started with the Welcome Address of Ms. Sadia Jahan Rothi, Environmental Management and Youth Engagement Specialist of the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research(C3ER), BRAC University. She welcomed all new members of the BRAC University Environment Club and highlighted C3ER’s activities and the opportunities can offer to club members.

Through interactive sessions and team-building activities, the new members gained insight into the club’s mission and future initiatives. The club also shared its upcoming projects addressing environmental challenges, encouraging members to contribute ideas and take meaningful action. A cultural segment featuring performances by talented club members added to the event’s vibrancy, making it a memorable experience.

Together, let’s take steps toward building a sustainable future.
