On 15 December 2024, the Center for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University, and Brighters signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to foster knowledge exchange, collaborative research, awareness programs, and capacity-building initiatives that address pressing climate and environmental challenges.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Ainun Nishat, Professor Emeritus and Advisor at C3ER, BRAC University, and Ms. Fariha Aumi, Chair of Brighters, in a ceremony that marked a shared vision to utilize expertise and resources for achieving meaningful and mutually beneficial outcomes.
Through this collaboration, C3ER and Brighters will co-develop research initiatives, conduct impactful training programs, and design awareness-raising activities to strengthen knowledge-sharing and capacity-building efforts at national and international levels. This MoU reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing climate resilience, sustainable development, and environmental education, which remain critical in addressing global climate priorities.
