Ms. Roufa Khanum, Assistant Director of the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), BRAC University, participated as a speaker at the EcoMen Summit 2024 in the “Local Leadership in Action: Collaborating for Gender and Environmental Transformation.” This session was part of EcoMen Summit 2024, a national youth forum that seeks to engage men and boys in environmental stewardship while promoting gender equality for a climate-resilient society.

During her address, Ms. Roufa discussed C3ER’s contributions to critical policy frameworks, including the National Adaptation Plan (NAP), Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), and the Bangladesh Climate Change Gender Action Plan (ccGAP). She underscored C3ER’s commitment to actively involving youth in these initiatives, fostering a sustainable and inclusive approach to climate resilience in Bangladesh.
